The smile of a happy baby has to be one of my favorite sights. The giggle of a happy baby splashing around a milk bath filled with flowers is even better. Never shooting a milk bath before I went into this a little naïve. How hard could photographing a baby in a bathtub be? The moment we put sweet Emilynn in the bath tub her eyes lit up and her feet got to kicking, and it was the cutest thing I ever did see.
Trying to get calm still shots weren't the easiest with all of her senses going crazy over the water and flowers. After her initial excitement of this new bath play time when her eyes locked on the camera it made for a beautiful moment. I couldn't have chose a better baby for my first ever milk bath shoot!

I am thankful for the pleasure of getting to photograph this beautiful little babe, especially since I've been able to watch her grow since birth. I always love joining up with good friends for photo sessions, it comes so natural already having a relationship and trust built up. I'm lucky to call this sweet girls family our friends, and even more lucky to have them trust me with their photo's.
I can honestly say this has been one of my favorite sessions so far, and am thankful for the opportunity.
