Old Sheldon Ruins

"Most recently, the Old Sheldon Church has seen vandals and thieves. Now a metal fence surrounds the ruins. The fence is part of a preservation effort that began in 2016 to help restore the area while keeping unwanted vandals out."

I am at a loss for words that anyone could vandalize such a beautiful place. It was just recently brought to my attention that this beautiful piece of Beaufort history that we once were able to explore freely now has a fence around it due to vandalism and thievery. So here I am to share the beauty of this place and the exploration we got to experience before the fence went up.
