These are the sessions that make me love what I do, when I can capture a genuine smile from a child. Exploring with them and trying to see things from their perspective (even if it is to allow them to hold onto their snails for the entire session) the little funny details behind the scenes that just make it that much more special. I am so thrilled to have gotten the opportunity to do this beautiful maternity session, and even more thrilled about sweet Bentley's arrival.
Even though I haven't been through it yet I can only imagine how bittersweet these last days are as a family of three, when you spend those last cuddles with your first and for the time being only child. Watching sweet Brooke grow from toddler to now already taking on her role as a helpful older sibling makes me so excited for my own daughter to become a sibling in the future.
These snails meant the world to her, so why not capture these moments when her imagination is never ending?

Missing the glow of creating new life just looking at these photo's of this beauftiful pregnancy . We are impatiently awaiting sweet little Bentley Jacob Sassaman's arrival and cannot wait to shower him with all the love in the world. I am so excited for this new journey my beautiful friends are going through and hope to capture many more memories.
