Two things that I love the most about being apart of a military lifestyle is exploring new beautiful places, and meeting friends that become family. Before leaving our last duty station I got the pleasure of photographing friends that are very dear to our hearts. It is crazy how sometimes you meet someone and you just know that you will be close. I still remember the day I met this gem of a friend, sitting in a training for work and I just asked "so where are we going for lunch?" and thankfully rather than finding me weird she took a chance and we went to Wendy's. Lucky for me I gained a best friend that day. I got the opportunity to take their photo's for the next three years, watching them go from a family of two to a family of three. Then got to watch their beautiful daughter grow, photographing her newborn to first birthday!

Aspen love's to hear planes and helicopters flying by, she's always rushing out to watch them fade off into the distance. Lucky for us while one landed within eye distance for us to watch!
Meeting friends like the Snyder family truly make moving away so much harder, but it also helps me to look forward to the many more people I will meet along the way. I am blessed to have had this beautiful family to watch after my daughter, be there in times of need, and so much more.
